Impact Windows · Broward & Palm Beach
Impact windows, designed as architecture.
Hurricane protection you never have to put up, with the sightlines, finishes, and proportions your home deserves.

Window systems we install
- Fixed picture windows for uninterrupted views and maximum glass area.
- Casement windows that open fully for cross-ventilation.
- Single-hung windows, the familiar profile for traditional and Mediterranean homes.
- Horizontal rolling windows for wide, low openings.
- Architectural and oversized glazing: floor-to-ceiling walls of glass, corner units, and custom shapes.
Replacement and new construction
For existing homes, we remove old windows and shutters, install new impact-rated units to the manufacturer’s approved method, and finish the openings cleanly inside and out. For new construction, we work from your architect’s drawings and coordinate with your builder’s schedule.
Approved for where you live
Every product we specify carries the approvals your property requires. In Broward County, part of Florida’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, that typically means a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA). Elsewhere, Florida Product Approval applies. We match each opening to a product rated for its size and design pressure, and we provide the documentation with your permit.
Brands we install
ES Windows, PGT, CWS, ETI, and Velocity. Because we aren’t tied to a single manufacturer, we choose the system that fits each opening, design, and budget.
Impact window questions
Do I need a permit to replace windows in Broward or Palm Beach County?
Yes. Window replacement requires a building permit. We prepare and submit the application, including product approvals and the required drawings, and we schedule the inspections.
Do impact windows replace hurricane shutters?
Impact-rated windows installed to their approval serve as the opening protection themselves, so there is nothing to put up before a storm.
Can impact windows lower my insurance premium?
Florida insurers must offer credits for qualifying windstorm mitigation features, and protected openings are one of them. A wind mitigation inspection after installation documents your new windows for your insurer. Savings vary by policy.
What is the difference between a Miami-Dade NOA and Florida Product Approval?
Both certify that a product has been tested for Florida’s wind and impact conditions. A Miami-Dade NOA is issued by Miami-Dade County and is the standard for the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, which includes Broward. Florida Product Approval is the statewide approval used throughout the rest of Florida.
How long does a window project take?
Most of the timeline is permitting and manufacturing, which vary by jurisdiction and product. Installation itself is usually measured in days. Your proposal includes an estimated schedule, and the client portal shows each confirmed milestone.
